“An Evening at the Playground”

Last Friday evening, Jack and his little sister, Mia, went to the playground near their house. The weather was cool, and many children were playing outside. Mia was excited because she loves the swings, and Jack wanted to play football with his friends.

When they arrived, Mia ran straight to the swings. She started swinging high and said, “Look at me, Jack!” Jack smiled and said, “Be careful!” Then, he joined his friends on the football field. They divided into two teams and started the game. Jack scored two goals, and his team won.

After playing for an hour, Jack went to check on Mia. She was on the slide, laughing with her friends. “I’m having so much fun!” Mia said. Jack replied, “Good! But it’s getting late, so we’ll leave soon.”

Before they left, they stopped at the ice cream truck near the park. Jack bought a chocolate cone for himself and a strawberry one for Mia. They sat on a bench, enjoying their ice cream. Mia said, “This is the best evening ever!”

When they got home, their mom asked, “Did you have a good time?” Jack and Mia both shouted, “Yes!”
